TRUST & SAFETY

Community Rules

Restaurant Hire works when workers and restaurants treat each other honestly and professionally.

Be truthful

Use your real information. Describe experience, pay, schedules, job duties, openings, and workplace expectations accurately.

Respect everyone

No harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, sexual misconduct, intimidation, or retaliation. Communicate professionally before, during, and after interviews and work.

Protect privacy

Do not post another person’s phone number, email, address, private messages, or sensitive information publicly. Use unlocked contact details only for the relevant hiring process.

Keep jobs safe and legal

Do not post unlawful work, unsafe conditions, unpaid trial work that violates applicable law, deceptive pay, or requests for money from applicants. Workers should never send payment to secure a job.

Use ratings fairly

Rate only completed work. Focus on job-related conduct. Do not exchange, threaten, fabricate, or manipulate ratings.

Report problems

Stop communication if something feels unsafe. Preserve relevant messages and contact the administrator. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
